The Betty and Jacob Friedman Holistic Garden allows people of all ages and physical abilities to discover the benefits of planting and picking their own produce. Located on the Rice University campus at the corner of College Way and University Boulevard just south of the Rice Media Center, the educational garden was created under the tutelage of Joe Novak, widely regarded as one of the state’s leading horticulture experts. The site is open to the public for those eager to learn how to garden in the Houston climate or for those lifelong gardeners enthusiastic to hear about new gardening methods.
In the event of rain, the dedication will be held in "Anderson Clarke Center".
Kindly RSVP to dpevents@rice.edu or call 713-348-4111 by September 26.
